I love that idea because slavery is cruel and mean. It would also be really hard. He also never let the world forget that the Civil War involved a large issue. As president, he built the Republican Party into a strong national organization. Also he did not give up when he lost to become the president. He tried again, and won re-election in 1864. As you can see, Abe was a great president. I also like his tall hat.
